Arrest

It is the first light of dawn and a light rainfall which wakes you, that and the sounds of someone shouting: "This way! The signal's coming from over here!" You stand up and sway on your feet, then realize that the Fearow is nowhere to be seen. Ignoring the sounds of what you can only guess must be 'rescue' (or more accurately "arrest") coming towards you, you climb up into the tree again. You HAVE to know if you saved the eggs or not...

Back at the top of the tree, you find the shells of the eggs empty, but you also find something else... A Pokéball, one of YOUR Pokéballs... Its light is glowing green...

"There she is! Stop her!" Someone cries from directly below you. You only take a split second to grab the Pokéball before climbing down.

"No need to be violent! I'm coming quietly!" You state as you slip the Pokéball into the front of your shorts.

Shortly you come before a grim-faced constable. "What are you doing on this side of the Parkland-Barrier?" He asks.

"Research," you state matter-of-factly.

"You are not an approved researcher," he states in the same tone.

"Sometimes there isn't time to get approval," you counter and fish in your pocket for the Pokédex, which is nowhere to be found.

"Looking for THIS?" The constable's partner, a woman, though not one of the 'Jenny' Clones, states holding up the ruins of your Pokédex.

"Yes, it has the proof of why I was here," you state and she scowls.

"A likely story, I bet you 'found a new species of Pokémon', right?" she says in a sing-song voice and your heart sinks.

"Um, yes, actually..." You say blushing beet red and knowing no one is going to believe you.

"Can I call it or what Tom?" the woman asks of her partner who only grunts in reply. The two police officers grab your arms and cuff your hands behind your back. They then frog march you out to a clearing where, after a few minutes, a chopper comes in to pick the three of you up...
