"So, how did I do?" Becka asked him with something of a wicked smile. Does she know that I am rock hard still from watching her come?

"Personally you did very well, Dr. Summers, but sadly Chase's brain activity didn't spike any more than when the male scientists tried. Maybe he is just one of the brains that cannot be opened. We have a few full-time residences here. There are still great for research and when new techniques are discovered, we try them on the hard minds first."

Becka face looked so disappointed that it made Jayson a little sad. This was her first CPI, and Jayson understood the need and desire to show that one could help people, but he also knew that its not always that easy. But he had an idea, yet wasn't sure if Becka would be interested.

"Look, Dr. Summers, you did everything great. Your first CPI was flawless and you didn't get stuck in the fantasy, in my opinion that is a win. But I have an idea, if you would be willing to give it a try."

Becka looked up at Jayson with hope in her eyes. She really did want to save people. He himself had forgotten that drive and ambition to help, he had been doing this a long time.

"What is your idea?" Becka asked with interest in her eyes.

"We can go in together. Chase's brain activity was the same when stimulated by either sex alone, but maybe he needs both to wake up. I don't often suggest this to new hires, but you would be going in with me, and I know the system better than anyone around. So, what do you think?" Jayson flashed his biggest, no threatening smile he could muster. Please say yes. Please say yes!
