Fight them!

You grit your teeth, widen your stance, and keep your sword level, charging forward into battle! The vines twist about creepily, burrowing into the ground occasionally and securely rooting themselves there. You ignore that looming threat for now, focusing on the direct enemy, that is, the several vines moving in on you!

You hack and slash as best as you can, keeping yourself mobile despite the limited room allowed to you. The vines actually seem to be waiting, never attacking you too much, it feels like they're holding back.. You do your best to keep chopping them down as they slink forward, coiling about in search of something to grab onto.

The ground shakes a little under you and you glance down, the first few vines seeping up out of the ground and lashing at your legs. You quickly hike one leg up, pulling it away before having to hop onto the other, feeling a bit embarrassed as you're practically **** to dance to avoid getting grabbed. The struggling comes to a stop though, as you notice a much larger plant coming up out of the ground beneath you, causing you to bring your sword up quickly, aiming to stab down at it

The plant opens, revealing a pink, toothless maw. It snaps at you viciously, threatening to grab onto you. Keeping your sword in hand, you stab down at it furiously..
