The Metropolis Hills

A blue orb of light surrounded him and for a moment Marcus was blinded by the light. When the light died down, Charles and the room in the mansion had disappeared. He found himself in a quite small room with a similar platform. He stepped down and looked around. A stair lead out of the room and on the other end he opened a metal door. To his surprise he exited a small electrical substation, at least a building which looked like one.

It was located in an area of Metropolis he had seen a few times from the car. The Metropolis Hills were one of the most famous and most expensive districts of the city. Many big names were living here and while he looked along the street, he saw one mansion after another. It drizzled a bit but the big storm unloaded itself over the bay in the distance. He had to look a second time but now the island, he had been minutes ago, was clearly visible in the bay. He wondered if only he could see it or if it had become visible for everyone. He decided to ask Charles later.

While he wandered along the street, he spotted a mansion where several cars were parked in front of the building. While he came closer, music got audible and he saw that there was a party ongoing in the living room and at a tent in the garden.

While he was watching, another car parked at the house and when the driver got out of the car, he recognized Jennifer Lawrence. The actress wore a short black summer dress and wore her platinum blonde hair open. She clearly was heading for the party and Marcus thought if she would be good way to get onto the party. Maybe he could have his fun with her later, too. Or he could test his powers directly with her before causing some mischief on the party.

"Miss Lawrence!" he shouted and she looked around, probably expecting a photographer, as her countenance got relaxed as she saw him without a camera.

"Hello, do we know each other?" she asked him.

"Marcus Ericsson," he introduced himself and offered her his hand. A thought went through his head and when she grabbed his hand to greet him, a tingle went through his hand and she relaxed even more. He was surprised how easy it had become to him to use his powers within minutes. It was almost like riding bike after a longer break. He put some thoughts in Jennifer’s mind and watched satisfied how the effects became visible and her facial expression a bit more kinky.

"So, Marcus, you’re invited too? You look like a funny guy. Maybe we can have some fun on the party together?"
