"Eh, I've seen better."

My mind goes back to the parking pass that expires in the next 45 minutes. "Eh, I've seen better," I say.

Finn gives me an incredulous look, then a small smile. "Alright, roomie. Whatever you say."

I hear a door open from somewhere on the floor, and suddenly I remember that it's not always normal for your roommate to be nude in public. To save his modesty a little bit, I pull my cart of stuff in through the room door and close it. Inside, Finn puts on a pair of boxer briefs and shorts, but leaves his chest bare. I can tell he's showing off, but most of me doesn't really mind.

"Need any help with the rest of your stuff?" he asks, coolly.

"No thanks," I say, pushing the cart back into the hallway. "I'll probably be gone for around 15 minutes or so, if you need to finish up what you were doing." I give him a wink and shut the door behind me.

I see the elevator doors closing and I ask whoever's inside to hold the door. Pushing my cart inside, I come face to face with a gorgeous redheaded girl. She has her key on a lanyard around her neck and a red cart just like mine, so she must be moving in as well.

"Are you on Madison 5, too?" I ask her.

She looks at me with hazel eyes. "Mmhmm. Someone must've thought it was funny."

"What was funny?"

"Putting a girl named Madison in the Madison house."

"Yeah, quite a coincidence."

"I go by Maddie, though."

"Mark," I say, extending a hand for a handshake. "Looking forward to living on the floor with you." I check her out, and I am definitely not lying about that. She has fair skin and slender legs, and as my friend David would describe it, "an ass that just won't quit." Was every damn person on Madison 5 a model?

"I'm looking forward to getting to know you, too," she says back with a smile. "Can I ask you a favor?"

A sexual favor? my brain wants me to say. Instead I just say,"Sure."

"Could you help me move in? My dad's not here to help with the heavy lifting anymore."
