A magic staff, I'm a Magician

I concentrates my magic unto my staff and the magic stone at the top starts to glow bright. Attracted by the glow, the slime turns to look at me but it is too late. I points the staff toward the creature and cries out, "Magic Bolt!"

A streak of light escapes the orb and hits the slime right on, it is an elementary level magic but it prove potent enough as the creature burst into pieces. I reflexively does the guts pose at the achievement of getting my first kill.

Unfortunately, that magic costs a portion of my mana but since it will naturally regenerate overtime as I rests, it isn't quite a big deal. Still, I heard it is wiser to know my limit and regulate my mana accordingly. Keeping that in mind, I looks around looking for my next victim.
