You're a wimp

If there's one thing Penny was good at, it was hiding her true intentions and feelings. While she did birth you, she's hid the fact that she was disgusted the moment you were spat out of her.

Most mothers develop a strong chemical bond with their babies upon their exit, but not Penny. You were forlorn, even as an infant, and she could already smell the disappointment, the regret for not even considering an abortion.

This, in turn, brought out a disgust for herself. She was a mother. Why was she so unable to love her baby boy? Why was her contempt for you so much greater than her disgust in herself? The guilt didn't do much to sway her lifelong deceptive **** towards you, and was only encouraged by any slight hint of weakness from you.

Penny opted to not breastfeed you, although she lied, and told you and your father the opposite. She rationed your food, intentionally giving you less than recommended portions to ensure your development would be less than optimal.

She kept up this charade through your adolescence, playing the part of doting mother, while she secretly sabotaged your existence behind the scenes. Who would expect lovely Penny to hold such scorn for her baby boy? No one.

All of that would change today.
