Upping the Ante

That had gone well.

Morwen informed her that her little act had been quite effective at drumming up interest. Her own viewers, those who were rooting for her at least, had gotten a thrill out of watching her humiliate the Hunter. And her show of strength had only incensed those rooting against her further.

Still, she knew that she would have to be bolder if she ever wanted to become truly famous. There really weren't any threats in this little park, and her viewers would almost certainly lose interest if there wasn't a chance that she could actually be taken down.

"Where can I find more people?" She asked Morwen.

"Well, your best bet would be the Central Commons. Should be nice and busy this time of day. Outside of walking distance, though."

Stiletto frowned. The Commons would be good, but she didn't see an obvious way of getting there without taking on unnecessary risk. Then again, she reminded herself, she wasn't in the CIA any more. Unnecessary risk was exactly what this whole game was about.

On any other day she would have simply taken the subway. Then again, on most days she didn't have to worry about suddenly becoming eligible to be fucked by any passing bystander with no warning. Hell, she had enough trouble with perverts trying to grope her on normal days. 'Course getting herself locked into a subway car, if even just for a few minutes, would be an incredible thrill for her viewers. And she had always secretly been turned on by the 'attention' that she received from subway strangers...

So the subway was an option. An insane one, sure, but this whole thing was pretty insane to begin with. She could always just call a cab, though that too carried some risk, depending on her cabbie. And the rules dictated that she would have to leave the vehicle (unless prevented from doing so...) if she happened to go live en route.

Or she could just call Morwen and have her drive. Boring, but safe.
