Sorting out their grievances

"I didn't do it to be a dick!" Xander protested to his best friend, raising his voice enough to get looks from the clears at the front desk. "It wasn't serious! It meant nothing. Molly knows that! She said it herself, we're practically siblings."

"I sure as hell wouldn't kiss my sister," Danny retorted.

Lily, with her arms crossed over her chest while shooting dirty looks at Xander and Molly, nodded her head at Danny's statement. Xander groaned in exasperation and ran a hand through his hair.

"But I'm not his sister Danny. Xander is right. Nothing would happen between us. It was just because of what Jessica said. We were just having fun."

A scoff brought everyone's attention to Lily who was obviously upset, her eyes were red and watery and cheeks blotched with anger.

"Just having fun? It looked like more than that! How could you! You know how I—"

One of the clerks at the desk had started making his way toward them and they all noticed, collectively deciding to leave the lobby to go outside before he reached them.

"How could you call yourself my friend?" Lily snapped at Molly once the group had walked sufficiently far enough from the front enterance. "You went way over the line."

"You two broke up! And as I said, nothing is going to happen between us! I crossed the line?! I didn't yank down Xander's pants like Danny did to Amber's shirt!"

"What the fuck was that about?" Xander confronted Danny again his anger getting the best of him as he stepped in front of him even though he was a whole four inches smaller. "Decided you weren't being enough of an asshole?"
