Alex stayed quite and tried to pretend she was asleep. Gamora would have none of that and asked again. Alex just sat up.

“I’ve been around enough telepaths to know when someone is in my mind.”

“I don’t know how to control it.” That was really the easiest excuse to reach for. She really didn’t know how to control it, but does that matter? Suddenly you have a rock from space in your head and you can read everyone’s mind so there must be a way to not read everyone’s mind. It can’t be that hard right?

Gamora did not bother to try to cover up. He mostly nude body (boots remember?) just sat up and looked at Alex. “You don’t need to make up excuses. But you should own up to it. You saw into my mind, my sexual fantasies, did you see anything you liked?”

Alex could just try to keep quite about the whole experience. And she did try. But there’s a funny thing that happens sometimes: you just can’t. I don’t know if you have ever had this happened to you, but sometimes a **** from outside of you forces you to say or do something you normally wouldn’t. You become a stranger in your own body for a time and start to go off and do abnormal things. That is what was happened to Alex when she asked about Moondragon.

“Regret. Not for what we did but for what we did not do.” Gamora handed over the dildo to Alex. “Now that you have seen me at my most intimate, it is only fair that you do the same.”
