As she comes down from her adrenaline rush, she realizes she should call for back-up, then she reaches for Michael's walkie-talkie and calls for back-up "This is private first-class Mary Shaw! Requesting back-up and a medic, I have injured. We were engaged by a hostile, I killed him, however I don't know if he had back-up on the way." She says, not knowing if the field dressing she applied to Michael's wound will be enough to save him.

Maey is overjoyed when there is an answering crackle from the radio and the base gives her the news she is hoping for. "Roger that Private, we have backup inbound to your convoy's position, hang tight and try to stabilize the wounded!"

"You hear that sarge? Some of ours are coming to pick us up! You just hold on for me, you hear?" Michael whispers as she scans the surrounding skyline for more hostiles.
