Cuteness

"If ever there was a two-edged sword in life it would be cuteness. Being adorable is the bane of being taken seriously, but a huge ticket to getting your own way. You get to be a walking get out of jail free card but almost nobody will care about what's in your brain.

"So just smile and wave dear, and feel free to amuse the crowds and glower at them on the inside. They'll never know what you're plotting and they might not even realize if you are. Become the eternal kitten and toy with people like a ball of yarn. Anyone watching will simply say 'Dawww, you're so cute'.

"From here on out, John the game is yours."

Dear god, was 5 foot 3 inches to unreasonable for you in all your powers? Why did my growth spurt suddenly abandon me at 5 foot 1? Why did you **** me to look up at the world around me?

Being small was never a big problem when I was a child, I never really thought about it actually, what is an inch or two among children? But suddenly my friends have to kneel to look me in the eyes and I know that size really does matter! At the very least it matters to me!

And this face? Will I be asked if I want a "kids menu" when I turn 40? Baby face doesn't even begin to describe the struggles of a face that can't be aged by makeup. I'm everyone's kid sister and can't get a date to the ice cream truck! God I hate you! Why did you do this to me?

You know what? I'm going to stick it to you. Yeah, I'm going to prove to you that you can't hold back this much awesomeness simply by keeping me CUTE! I'm going to make something of myself and I have a plan!
