Deal!

"Deal," you grin.

Ellie shuffles the deck and deals out the cards. You have the Five of Diamonds and Five of Clubs. Val sighs at her Ten of Clubs and Ten of Diamonds but Ellie smiles at her Ace of Spades and King of Spades.

"Ready?" Ellie asks. You and Val nod and the redhead reveals the flop -- the Queen of Spade, the Ten of Spades, and the Five of Spades.

"Flush!" Ellie cheers.

"Three-of-a-kind," Val notes.

"It still beats mine," you grumble. Val looks at you and smiles, knowing that even though she may not win Ellie may, and that's all it matters in the bet.

Ellie flips over the turn card, the Queen of Heart. "Oh my God! Full house!" Val screams. "Ten high!"

"Full house, five high," you mutter, believing your luck has finally run out.

"Are you ready to lose your clothes?" Ellie mocks as she prepares to reveal the river card.

"I'll take my clothes off when I fuck the two of you," you retort, despite the fact that you have less than five percent to beat them with a four-of-a-kind.
