Go under the dock
You pick Selphie up (she's surprisingly light) and take her under the dock. You make it there just in time as you hear Tidus's footsteps walk onto the dock. You look at Selphie and put your finger on your lips. She bits hers and nods in understanding.
"Strange. Selphie's almost always here. Where could she be?"
