The Hunters Attack, Venus Defends the Tribe (Venus POV)

Venus and Te'ran had never hidden their relationship, but with Venus being freed, the Mistress and the Shaman were now on equal footing in the tribe and their love had been allowed to blossom. Venus continued her work in the harem, teaching them and continuing to please the males as best she could, but every night was spent in her lover's arms. The she-Orc was pleased that her lover could still function as part of the tribe's harem and love her at the same time. Karuuk declared Venus a true member of the tribe and had her rune removed so that after she bore his children, she could mother the children of all the tribe equally.

It was a few nights after this declaration that disaster struck. Te'ran was walking Venus back to their home, nestled deep within the most recently captured village they had converted into a base, when they noticed several balls of fire light in the distant hills and fly towards the village. Venus could do nothing but watch in horror as the balls descended upon their people. Te'ran tried to stop the attack, but most struck their targets. Within minutes the flames were spreading. Venus grabbed a staff from a weapon rack that was nearby and raced to the harem. Inside, Rose was already getting the other women secured. Many where missing, off with some warrior or scout, but most were safe. Venus passed Rose the staff and ordered her to protect their family. Rose nodded and swore on her life.

As she was headed back to Te'ran, she heard the most horrifying sound in the distance: A werewolf's howl. Venus hurried as best she could to their home, but Te'ran wasn't there. Then she heard the shouting outside, followed quickly by explosions. When She got back outside, Te'ran was busy fighting a Huntress known as Alice and the human mage was winning. Without waiting a moment, Venus lashed out with her whip and ensnared the mage around the throat. She jerked woman off her feet and stepped forward to **** her with the whip to keep her from rejoining the battle. Then she saw the wolf. Rondo was charging her and Venus knew she couldn't stop Alice and him at the same time, especially in her condition. Then Karuuk was there, swinging a massive sword. Rondo caught the blade and was about to snap it in half when a blast of lighting struck him. Both Karuuk and Rondo were thrown aside and the sword skidded to a halt at Venus's feet. Te'ran shouted for Venus to let her deal with the mage, so she let off **** Alice and grabbed the fallen blade.

Rondo had recovered quickly and was standing over Karuuk with claws at the ready. Nearby, Venus saw Jillia being **** backwards by Rose. The harlequin stumbled over Salvin's prone form and Rose took advantage of the opening, knocking her over the head with her staff. Victory was within reach. Rondo was starting to slash downward when Venus swung her Chief's sword. Rondo's arm was severed at the elbow and before his shocked face could register what was happening, Venus spun with the years of practice from her years as a Huntress and sliced through his neck and severed his head. Rondo fell, lifeless. Looking around, Venus could see Te'ran had cast a sleep spell on Alice and was currently sealing away her magic. The Harem girls were tying up Salvin, Jillia, and a few other captured Hunters, and the Orc warriors were beginning to push pack the remaining invaders. Venus helped Karuuk to his feet and returned his sword. He lifted it into the air and his cry of victory echoed through the night.

In the aftermath of the fire and battle, fifteen Hunters had been captured. The rest were either dead or had escaped into the night. Some of the girls from the harem were unaccounted for and Venus was sure they had been taken by the cowards who had fled. Among the captured Hunters were several beautiful women, including Alice and Jillia. She examined each and smiled at them cruelly. That had hurt her family and she wouldn't show them any mercy breaking them in with her harem. Karuuk and Te'ran approached her while she was examining the bound women and the chief looked her over expectantly.

"I'll make them into fine additions to replace what was stolen from us Master."

"Mistress Venus..."

"Yes Master?"

"You know what you did last night... Who you killed?"

"I killed an invader. Who it was doesn't matter."

"I see. Then choose one. You are a champion of our people and deserve a personal ****. As well as my thanks."

Venus rubbed her swollen tummy and smiled at him before looking lovingly at Te'ran.

"I already have your thanks, but I will accept a **** to help me in pleasing my love."

She glanced at the captured women. Alice was older than her, but still quite attractive. On the other hand it was her fire that had done the most damage and in the harem, lots of warriors would take out their anger on her. Jillia on the other hand was near her age and had a slender and beautiful body. But there were still a few other women in the group that she didn't really know. Who would she choose?
