They Reach Carthin

The rest of the trip was fairly uneventful for the pack. Other than fighting off a small group of goblins at one point, the rest of the trip was completely safe. While the days were spent traveling, every night was spent in various forms of sexual ecstasy as Rondo took his wives in every ways he could, and other times simply watched the two young women pleasure each other. Rose took to live as a wolf's mate very well and her love for both him and Venus became more and more evident with each passing day.

Finally the day came when their destination was in sight. They had camped at the edge of a forest, able to see the torchlight from the city walls, but still too far to travel at night. Like with every night, the three took to making passionate love. The next morning when they awoke, they saw two figures approaching in the distance. The trio went about breaking up camp, but kept an eye on the approaching figures. One was a well built blonde man and the other a young woman about Venus's age with a leather cap on her head and a halberd over one shoulder.

When the pair of Shadow Hunters arrived, the camp had been packed up and Venus and her crew were preparing to head to the city. The pair stopped a few feet away from the trio and the man, eyed the women appreciatively.

"Good morning friends. You have the look of Hunters about you. Heard there was some strange noises and howling out this way last night and we were hired to investigate."

"I'm Venus from the Namina branch. My companions are my husband Rondo and our new partner Rose. We were hired by the church to hunt some demon cultists."

"Ah good to hear. I'm Mason and my partner here is Larisa. So you're the demon hunters huh? Well its good to hear that the Beast Tracker of Namina will be with us. Larisa and I will be with you along with a sour man named Loxley. We would love to accompany you to the city, but first we need to find the source of the howling last night."

Venus felt heat flush her face as she blushed. Both of the Carthin Hunters caught the look of embarrassment and Mason grinned and the girl giggled.

"Know something about that do you," Mason asked with a sly smile at Rondo. Her husband gave a wolfish grin and suddenly shifted forms. Mason's eyes lit with surprise and a silver dagger slid from his sleeve and into his hand. Before he could attack, both Venus and Rose were between them, swords drawn. Larisa had stumbled back in surprise and the hat now sat at an odd angle on her head as if something had stopped it from falling.

"I told you, this is my husband, a Hunter from Namina just as I am."

"You do realize he's a Were right," Mason asked while putting the dagger away. When Venus nodded, he gave a sigh and a shrug. Larisa fixed her hat and gave his side a nudge.

"Looks like the mystery is solved Mason. Shall we take them to the city?"

"Yeah, probably better to get the show on the road instead of just standing around. Shall we head to the church to check in with the clients first or do you want to set up a room at the guild first?"
