Chapter 6

Do you brave the storm or stay inside?
Stay Inside
"Maybe...maybe we should just hang around in the cabin until this storm blows over." You finally decide. "No use taking a chance that might ruin the rest of the week, right?" Melody chews on her bottom lip thoughtfully as he eyes dart back and forth between your eyes and the door.
"Okay, okay." She nods. "You have a good point. But this doesn't mean I am dropping the bet, got it?" She puts her index finger in your face threateningly. "Once the storm stops, we are going to settle this on the slopes."
"Got it." You hold your hands up in defeat. It would be in your best interest to just go along with it. The two of you sadly remove all your ski gear before heading back to the living room. "At least this place is stocked up with movies and board games." You say. "There is no shortage of ways to keep ourselves entertained while we wait."
"Good news for us." Melody agrees as she plops down on the couch. "Back in the day, when a snowstorm like this hit, people would have to resort to either cross-stitching or making babies." She turns her head and grins at you. "And I have no idea how to cross-stitch."
You feel your face blush slightly and fight to hide it. The implication of her words alone is enough to send your mind reeling. Images of her lying on the bed you will be sharing stark naked and spread eagle fill your mind. While real-world Melody simply laughs at your embarrassment, imaginary-world Melody is using her finger to spread open her pussy lips as she beckons you on to spend the night trying to impregnate her. You can almost feel the tight wetness around your cock as you slide your aching erection deep inside of her...
"Don't go getting ideas, mister." She giggles as she turns back to face the TV, as if she was reading your mind. She uses a remote to turn on the television, which brings up a black and white field of static. "I really appreciate you setting up this vacation for us and all, but I'm not going to let you knock me up because we encountered a few hours of boredom and cabin fever."
"I would never." You lie. Melody just chortles.
"A few days of boredom is a whole other matter, of course. If that happens, we can revisit the whole love child angle. Now why don't you pick out a movie for us to watch?"
"Of course." You say. You pull an 80s action movie you never heard of off the shelf and pop it into the old-school VCR. Then you plop down next to Melody on the sofa. "Let's just sit back and relax. We can get our thrills on the slopes tomorrow once the storm stops."
"Tomorrow sounds like fun." Melody agrees happily.
Melody lets out a loud sigh as she draws a card off the pile on the dining room table. "Oh, look." She says without any excitement. She turns the card over so you can see it. "Another blue square." She reaches over and advances her token along the game board until she reaches a blue square. She audibly sighs again. "Hello Jolly, you chubby gumdrop fuck."
It was now Thursday and you have been stuck in your cabin for nearly 3 straight days. Not only did the freak storm not pass by, but it intensified. The wind chill was so blisteringly cold, the resort had shut down all the lifts for safety sake. You have only left the cabin long enough to run down to the main lodge to buy food and supplies, and even then you felt like your nose was going to fall off from frostbite.
Cabin fever was definitely beginning to set in as the two of you have watched every movie that looked even remotely interesting and played every board game on the shelf multiple times. You would constantly pray for the storm to cease so you can enjoy your vacation, but that seems to be in vain. At this point, cross-stitching is starting to sound like fun.
"I can't take this any longer." Melody mumbles. "I am seriously fantasizing about punching all these Candy Land motherfuckers in their smug faces."
"Maybe we should go back to Monopoly or something." You suggest.
"No! No more board games!" She exclaims. She knocks both of your tokens off the game board in a rage. "This sucks, Jack!"
"Sorry." You try to apologize. "This is my fault. I feel bad about dragging you out on such a crappy vacation." Melody's angry features melted sympathetically.
"No, no." She shakes her head. "It's not your fault. I'm sorry for losing my head there. I think I am just going stir-crazy in here." She leans her elbows on the tables and plops her head down in her hands. "Baby-making actually sounds like a reasonable activity at this point. At least it would be a change of pace. And actually, y'know, fun."
"Should I go ready the love-making bed?" You crack a joke. She snorts in surprised laughter.
"Hey, it's a little too soon for such comments, Jack. I am still traumatized after this morning."
"Well, if you would stay on your side of the bed, it wouldn't have been a problem." You say defensively, crossing your arms. "You're the one who rolled over practically on top of me." Not that you minded, of course.
"Well, maybe if you weren't such a perverted dreamer, you wouldn't have such a raging hard-on in the morning." She tries to look hurt, but the twinkle in her eye was so obvious, she might as well just been grinning. "And you're not the one who had to wake up with someone's morning wood nestled in your ass cheeks."
"Oh, you liked it." You say dismissively. "I bet you rolled on to my side of the bed on purpose." Melody laughs and gives you a seductive look.
"I'll never tell and you'll never know." She sticks her tongue out at you and it is your turn to laugh. You both chuckle for a short while before settling down.
"I have to admit...as much as it sucks with the weather, I am glad you are the one I am stuck with." You finally say.
"Oh definitely." Your companion agrees. "Anyone else would have driven me crazy by now. You are the silver lining on this little cloud, Jack." She gives you a very sincere smile and you feel your heart melt. "In fact, I am not going to let this storm ruin our time together. I WILL find something fun for us to do!" She taps her shin thoughtfully for a few moments before her eyes light up. "I got it!"
"What is it?" You ask curiously. She gives you an impish grin.
"Guess!" She laughs.
