The deal

Mark believed this would be easy, simply get a permit, get his money, find a house and never talk to these insane people again. Unfortunately, the woman had a catch. "You can't." She responded. "What!? What do you mean I can't!?" Mark asked, frustrated. "You've been charged with **** Mark, which means I have to give you a punishment." The woman explained to Mark.

Mark rolled his eyes. "This is getting ridiculous now!" He yelled. "All I want you to do Mark is this, go to the mother of the girl you pushed and apologise to her, then get her to come to me to confirm you apologised, then I'll give you a permit and you can have your money back, deal?" The woman asked Mark.

Mark raised his eyebrow, this might be the easiest get out of jail free card he thought to himself. "Okay you got a deal lady!" He cheerfully responded. The woman uncuffed him and handed him a piece of paper. "This is the address of the girl's mom, she'll probably be expecting you. And it also has my name and address for the girls mom to come find me when you've done it." The woman explained to Mark.

The evil lawyer smiled greedily and accepted the note. Mark nodded his head at the lady and made his way to the location. He constantly reminded himself that freedom was not too far away.
