Chapter 16 by kendahl6969 kendahl6969

What do we encounter?

A locked door

My cousin Anastacia and I walk up the cobblestone path to my Aunt Sophie's cottage. Night has fallen. I feel a little less conspicuous being naked in the backyard's moonlight. A cool breeze wafts past, sending a chill over our sweat-slick, cum-glazed bodies. I can't help but tremble, bringing my arms together over my jutting boobs for protection from the night air.

"I'm so embarrassed, Stacy!" I near-whisper to my equally nude cousin as she adopts the same cross-armed stance to ward off the chill as I have. "What must Uncle Ken think of us?" I ask as we step up onto the back door's steps.

Suddenly the harsh glare of an incandescent bulb shines down upon us like a beacon from above. After a moment's fright, I realize it is only the rear porch light. It is an old-fashioned looking lantern with a modern motion detector.

"Crikey! We really needed that!" Stacy groans, removing one arm from around her expansive tits to shield her eyes with her hand as she checks out the light. "We can be seen for miles now!"

I knew Stacy was exaggerating, but our smooth fair skin did stand out against the black of night surrounding us. It was good our neighbors were well-spaced around us!

"Well, let's get inside then!" I encourage, reaching forward to grab the screen door's handle and pulling the frame wide. Leaving Stacy to hold the screen door open behind me, I reach across the threshold to grab the big brass knob of the heavy wooden door. I twist the round ball. Nothing. I twist in the other direction. Still the latch doesn't give.

My eyes staring at the unmoving doorknob still in my hand in disbelief, I casually call out.

"Cousin Stacy?"

"Yes, Lucy?" she asks back from behind me.

"You didn't decide to bolt the door so I couldn't come back in this way, did you?"

Silence from my red-haired relative. All I hear are the crickets chirping in the depths of the English garden behind us.

"Anastacia! I'm not hearing an answer!" I say more loudly, trying not to explode.

"I'm afraid I did. I'm sorry. I completely forgot," she replies in a lifeless monotone.

I relax my deathgrip on the doorknob and bring my hands to my hair, pulling my fingers back through my sun-bleached tresses, massaging my temples as I do.

I slowly turn to face my cousin, though I can't meet her eyes, because she is staring at the ground before her. I can see tears drip to her feet, though.

"Stacy, look at me."

My fair-skinned cousin picks up her head and stares up to me, her green eyes welling with tears.

"I'm sorry I yelled, Stacy," I truthfully tell her, using a thumb to dab away some of her tears. "But I cannot face Uncle Ken this way again. This is your house. Do you have any idea how to get in?"

I see her eyes search, her mind racing as she tries to clear her head and think of an alternate way inside.

What does Stacy come up with?
