Go Casting

Julia soon spotted another girl looking just as lost and alone as her this gave her confidence, at least she wasn't the only one having trouble in this town that was built on hope and dreams.

She went and introduced herself to the other Girl her name was Olga and Julia could spot she was foreign not only by the name but by the obvious eastern accent, at a closer look one good think that Olga was related to Tennis temptress Kournikova she looked she could be her younger sister.

When Julia told her this, Olga just laughed and said "I am flattered but I am actually not Russian, I am from the Ukraine!".

This kind of got them both cherred up and Julia told her about her moviestar dreams Olga obvisuly had the same ones, she had been in the states for the previous two summers working as a hostess in an LA CLub, It is there where she met Derek, an American actor who was playing minor roles in some indy films.

Olga had gone to work in the club in LA for the last month inorder so she would have enough money to pay off the loan, for the Air Ticket to the US, Derek had given her.

After DHL'ing the money to Derek, last week she had gone to meet up with him in Hollywood hills, but he wasn't at their Busstop and now she was stressed and didn't know what to do.

She felt very relieved however that Julia had come and talked to her, They decided to go and grab a drink at the nearby cafeteria since the long busride had worned them out

As Olga was talking up her bag Julia noticed a magazine sticking out, whats that she asked, "ohh that is just Magazine released by the Actoring Union" Olga replied in her broken english, Olga continued "I got it from Derek, he said you can find work in it, but I still have the trouble of understanding all that content".

Can I have a look Julia enquired.

As they each sipped their drinks Julia quickly sqimmed through the magazines until she arrived at the big add sections, here there were 100's of casting applications,

Julia started reading the different adds to Olga who eagerly listened.

After reading a couple of adds the Girls made a pact to always stay together, and to go to castings togehter I mean if both of them went it definetley increased the odds of one of them getting the job. They decided to split their profits and to both motivate each other to improve.
