Safety in one's abode

Jeremy decided to be cautious with his new item who knew who would be watching him and willing to take it forcefully from him. Placing the wand in his pocket he walked forward.

-Jeremy’s House-

Jeremy removed the leash and watched his dog run off to the kitchen to get some food. He then removed his shoes and walked up to his room. He closed the door and locked it wishing to keep his privacy. He then grabbed the wand out of his pocket he examined it carefully, he waved it around slightly but nothing came out. “Huh it was working earlier… I could use like a guide or something,” He said pointing the wand at a piece of crumpled paper. Something shot out of the wand and hit the paper which crackled then began to bend and suddenly it became a brochure. Jeremy stunned grabbed the brochure and read the letters, ‘Dummy’s Guide to Magic Wands.’ Jeremy felt insulted but opened the brochure. ‘Wand usage, In order to use a wand one must keep what they want in mind as well as direct the power of the wish or desire so to bring it to life. Movement is required to direct the spell what type of movement matters not as long as it is pointing to the target. One can only implement one change at a time. Also the wand’s power is anything but infinite it will run out if used too quickly and too often. However the wand will recover if it given time to, keep these simple rules in mind and the wand is yours to master. Warning the wand can only do so much too powerful a wish or desire will destroy the wand and user.’ Jeremy gulped at that. He looked at the wand before he grabbed it and held it up examining it. He then heard the faint sound of a door slamming and knew that his older sister was home.
