in this section i will explain how survival world settings work,what it is and list some of the more common ones first i will explain what survival world setting is as well as what counts as survival in the first place first what counts as survival is that the main goal has to be to survive secondly generally the survival is carried out in another world where in most cases the whole world crosses this i feel is to further highlight survival another way to satisfy condition two is the world can also change instead of crossing like being pulled into the horror games era and lastly while not a requirement most of the time you will start out with a base of some sort that can be upgraded(this last bit is very fluid in a sense you will see after i make the list) now an observation of mine while technically it can be a different name for these stories the lord stories you see many can be considered survival because frankly the major theme as the lords grow is to survive and since lord stories actually make up the majority of the better survival stories looking for one means generally looking for the other as for the lists look below
