Your doppelgänger gives you one last smile and scampers to catch up to Emily and Akira.

As they disappear in the distance the hands release you and slide back into the wall. Moments later a red rubber leg steps through the wall. Then the rest of the figure steps through.

It is a featureless red rubber man.

It doesn’t have lips. A hole where it’s mouth would be simply opens. “Thank you for staying, Jessica.”

“Who…what the fuck are you?”

“We are demons Jessica. The real question is what are you?”

“What the fuck do you mean?”

“The lust demons have begun seducing you. In time, perhaps soon, you will join them.”

He touches your chest where your heart is.

“Is that really what you want?”

Right now you have no idea what you want.
