Two days later

After two days of boring classes, studying, and a lecture or two about her work ethics, with the only reprieve for Mai being her virtual house, we find her sitting at her desk, squirming and antsy, it is a Friday night, and in just a few hours at midnight, "Hero's Summit" finally launches. Mai is rushing to finish her work for the entire weekend, planning on doing nothing but playing the game, or playing with herself in other ways.. But, she is also excited as she received confirmations from all of her friends about them ordering VR-Pods, although for some of them it will be a few weeks still until they can play with her, she will get to actually hang out with them again. After trying out the virtual home the other day, and realizing just how real everything felt, she realized this was the next best thing to seeing them in person, and started pleading for them to join her in playing this new game.

An hour later, Mai finishes the last of her weekend work, having slowly stripped while working, she immediately hops into the VR-Pod, activating it.

She finds herself lying on her virtual bed, right where she last logged off, the first thing she does is reach down and gently stroke her lower lips, still generally amazed at how realistic it feels, but shakes herself out of it. Glancing at the clock on her system menu, she sees it is just an hour till midnight, one hour to do whatever she wants before entering the game world.

Exiting the virtual house, which over the past few days, has expanded to a semi-recreation of her old street, though really only her and Yuki, her best friend's house are accurate, the rest being from obscure memory. While she knows it is all fake, and the only people there are temporary, lifeless dolls, programmed to move in strict patterns, Mai gets quite the thrill from what feels like being naked in such a familiar environment, a few programmed dolls walk the sidewalks or drive by on occasion, causing her to hide behind bushes, trees, parked cars, and anything else she can quickly get to, just for fun, she also set each doll to take an instant photo of her if they see her, which gets sent to a device back in her virtual bedroom, the first few attempts at this led to quite a few embarrassing photos being taken, though recently she has gotten quite used to the motions of these dolls, and rarely, if ever, gets caught, only making her that more excited for the game to release, and for fully realized NPCs, and maybe players, have a chance at catching her nude antics in game, whenever she can risk having them that is. Mai does wonder if she can improve her private virtual world even more later, seeing that she seems to unlock new functions and an increased size the more time she spends here. Partially wondering if one day she could recreate her entire hometown, being able to cross it fully nude, it almost makes her drool at the thought. While daydreaming, her menu sends out a reminder, that Hero's Summit launches in five minutes.

Not caring if the dolls see her, the naked girl emerges from hiding, sprinting down the street toward her house to log into the game's waiting line. Entering her room, she glances over at the photo delivery screen, seeing nearly a dozen new photos of her sprinting fully nude through her neighborhood, and shudders in arousal, no one outside of the people living on said street would likely realize these were virtual photos if they saw them, not that she plans on letting others see the multitude of embarrassing nude photos she has collected in the past few days.

Just as Mai is about to hit enter on the Login waiting list, she hesitates, looking down at her still naked body, before finally putting the plain white clothes back on, moments later, she is glad she did, as since the game has not launched yet, the virtual line is within a public virtual world, looking similar to a convention hall's line for tickets or some talk, Mai suddenly finds herself surrounded by hundreds of other real people, though most having had customized their clothes at some point clearly, and she notices the system menu she had access to, including clothes control, is disabled, with the only active buttons being to quit, or to return to her private space. Fantasies of her appearing fully nude in this massive line run through her head, unable to put her clothes on without leaving back to her own private space, she would have been basically trapped, but while part of her regrets missing that opportunity to be nude among so many people, she is mostly relieved she put the clothing back on.
