The store manager

A brunette woman slightly plus sized wearing a big red polo and khaki colored shorts approached them. She smiled and said. “Hello, I’m Laura Thompson. I’m the manager of this location, and I’d be happy to help you with finding clothes for your daughter. Is there something in particular that you’re looking for?”

“Yes,” Helen said. “I need to get clothes for my daughter. Everything from underwear to tops to bottoms, the whole nine yards. Even swimsuits. I need to know what you think would be best for her.”

Laura looked at the smaller girl. She recognized Alexa as the girl who had previously picked on her daughter and smiled. “I see,” Laura said. “We can certainly pick out a few things and have her try them on to see if they fit. Let’s see, so there’s these packs of underwear.”

Laura pulled out some much more juvenile packs than what Helen had. “Oh those are cute,” Helen said as she looked at them. “Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, oh even My Little Pony, Alexa loves that show.”

Alexa blushed. “These are 30% off actually,” Laura said. “And we can go ahead and make sure that they fit. Let’s go to the fitting room. I can get us a nice big family changing room. I’ll also get you some nice swimwear options for her to try. And then we can proceed from there.”

“Thank you so much,” Helen said. “Come on, Alexa. Follow Miss Laura to the fitting room.”
