What shall happen next?
Triumph and a dark secret
The triumph was a magnificent affair. While your bounty has been relatively scarce, there was no shortage of willing illusionists to portrait the dark story of Lilly, the corruptress. From her arrival as a seemly innocent maiden to the infernal legions she unleashed in the capital, the streets crawled with seductive and terrifying images that to date still haunt the heart of the Empire.
The Empress Guard played no lesser role on the triumph. Few in number, their winged mounts turned them fabulous heroes. The empty pegasus, solemnly following the rest, also served as a reminder of the dangers the dark sorceress represented, and a silent tribute to your fallen men.
You invited Captain Strauss to be by your side. His deeds were known by many, but the bestowed honor elevated him above his cruel crime. He was dumbstruck at first, but soon learned the role and started to act as an idol he become. At one point a young children ran for him with flowers, and not only he accepted the gift, but also raised her to his shoulder and carried her for the end of the event. This, perhaps more than anything else, won the crowd over for him. At the end he privately told you "thank you", his rough lips curled in naked gratitude. This is a man who worships you, and would readily die in your service.
There was just one presence you missed. Dhaos, the Emperor. It was usual for the Emperor to not follow the procession, so as to not hog the event for himself, but as the "generals" husband his presence could be forgiven. The answer appeared when, late at night, you returned to your chambers.
You started to hear the song before you entered the room. It was his voice, but sweet and melodical. You dismiss your attendees, and sneak in the room, hoping not to disturb him.
He was sitting by the window, his fingers fiddling an old Lyre, he was bathed in moonlight as the melancolic music spoke of vows of eternal love. You catch sight of a shimmering tear, and suddenly feel like a intruder. So stupid, you curse yourself.
"My husband" you greet him formally, and he stops playing. He doesn't say a word "I am sorry, it was a tiresome day. I will return to bed." and you begin to do just that, but you stop halfway when you notice Dhaos still didnt say a word. You instead go to him, and wraps your arms around him and hear him cry "It is fine".
"I promise you, she is alive" you tell him "and she will be fine. We left her in the care of those who would care for her" Such a deceitful half true, but you are surprised at how easy, how natural it felt. "If you want to talk about her, I will hear"
And he did. She was his first love, his heart was young and foolish, but she was no different. He spoke of the hard grooming to become the next Emperor, and the constant falsehood of crones and upstars; Lilly was authentic, and treated him no better than any other friend.
"In fact, I was so in love I was ready to renounce everything if need be, just to stay with her." this speech was the complete opposite of the Dhaos you knew."And in my twentieth birthday, I decided, I would confront my family and the Senate, and give them an ultimatum. It would either be us, or none"
"I trusted no one with my resolution, save my best friend Sir Joeric. It would be years until I learned he was just another pretender from the Senate. Sir Joeric's expression turned grave, and at first he tried to dissuade me with words of honor and duty, but when that didnt work... i will never forget his words." You took his place by the window, and have his head on your lap. You play with his grey hair locks, trying to ignore your grieving heart.
"She is a courtesan, Dhaos. Have you ever heard of her family, or country of birth? that is because neither exist.Take her as a mistress if you will, but what kind of idiot marries a whore?"His hand was clentched in a fist "I hit him. Hard, enough to get him off his feet.I called him the liar he were, but his act ended up fooling me anyway. He said he had proof, and he would show me that night."
"Proof... we went to the house of Sirdis. They were an old Svitzand family, and promised her adoption. She would then be able to... she would then be an eligible wife" He gulped dry "when I arrived there I only saw my first love being taken from behind by the old patriarch in the balcony of their estate. Coersion, ****, none of that passed through my imagination. Her feeble antempts to hide her shame just added to the eroticism of the scene"
"Joeric placed his hand on my shoulder, but I didnt have enough. Old Sirdis was screaming his release, I though I would storm in his house and kill them both. Them all. I dont know"
"When i got in, she was already servicing another. Laya." His first wife, she was said to have been a kind hearted pretty girl, who enjoyed parties and giving out gifts. "Laya had hiked her dress, and Lilly was kneeling in front of her, licking and sucking Laya´s pussy. Neither knew very well what they were doing, but their show was driving the men present wild. Laya eventually laughed, and tossed Lilly to some man, and that was when I noticed I had stood at the door for minutes"
"She was **** to mount the next man, and began to squirt almost immediatelly. She cried in shame, everyone began to taunt how she was peeing in public." Dhaos paused "Laya came to me, and began to moisten my cock. It was already hard, she just told me I was next, and I would hurt her if I was dry. I said it didnt matter, Lilly only noticed me when I had my cock between her buttocks. She cried my name, and wailed in denial as I penetrated her last virgin hole. I wasn't only **** her, I was throwing in her face how she betrayed me, and how she was no better than a mare. She pleaded between moans how wrong I was, but I didn't hear, I wouldnt hear. She lost consience while I was fucking her"
"After I was done, i cleaned my cock in her hair, and though the worst night of my life was done. But it wasnt. The terrors we inflicted on her, they began to take form, they birthed demons. These are the demons you heard from, in the gossip and tales. But it was all our fault, and it has always been our fault."
With such a revelation, what will you do next?
