Welcum to Budapest!

As the plane doors opened we felt the burning dry heat of Hungary for the first time, we had definitely chosen the best place to start this journey! We eventually navigated the airport, collected our bags and booked an Uber to get us to the apartment that we’d booked for the month. It was amazing! Super modern, but small enough to not need a lot of cleaning up, as you walked through the door you could see the sliding door into the bathroom, on your left was the main living room / kitchen that had a sofa that could pull out into another bed, along the wall were steps that led up to a mezzanine which had a king size bed in the middle. We spent the next few hours unpacking and getting settled into our apartment.

“Should we go out and have a wander?” Jessica said, “You know, get a lay off the land around us, maybe grab some food and a drink?” She added. “Sure” I replied “I’m tired so I don’t want to go far, let’s just see what’s nearby” she replied. With that we got dressed into some clothes that are more climate appropriate and headed out. I let Jessica lead the way down the stairs out of the apartment, not because I’m a gentleman, but because I wanted to gawp at the set of legs she has on her, WOW! She was dressed in a mid length summer dress, something that she never usually goes for, but its HOT here after-all…

We found a cool place to eat at called ‘Mazel Tov’ then had a walk back down towards the famous Ruin bars which were conveniently opposite where the apartment was. It was nice to walk around and take it all in without the hustle and bustle as it was only 6pm on a Monday (not exactly the best going out time). After a few glasses of Rum and Coke I nipped to the loo to find that it was pretty much an open door from the urinals out to the bar, which felt weird, all the girls at the bar could see your junk if they wished…weird, must be a pretty easy going country I guessed!

After my very public visit to the loo I found Jessica at the table but she was talking to two girls. “Hey, I’m back” I announced. “Hey babe, meet Molly & Amber!” She replied. “Hey” I awkwardly waved. “Making friends already I see” I added. “We were just admiring Jessica’s hair, it’s beautiful” said Molly “I hope you don’t mind if we join you for drinks” Amber intervened. “Not at all, let me pull up some more chairs” I said.

Molly was about the same build as Jessica, VERY similar apart from she was a bit taller and had dirty blonde hair. Amber was a little shorter than Jessica and had a little bit more meat on the bone, but only a bit, in all the right places but with shoulder length brunette hair.

The girls did their usual girly thing of leaving me for 5-10 minutes at a time to go to the toilets together as we had more and more to drink. We only came in for 1 drink before an early night and it’s now almost 10pm and we are about 8 drinks in! Jessica didn’t really have a lot of friends, or really get along with girls that much so it was nice to see her making friends. “I think we are going to call it a night now ladies” Jessica said much to Molly & Amber’s disappointment. “Let us have your number, we could totally do this again” Molly said to Jessica “Sure thing, how long are you ladies here for? She replied “We’ve only been here a day, we have 2 weeks left till we go home to Paris” Amber added. They exchanged numbers and we said our goodbye’s as we made our way up to our apartment.
