Vicki

Vicki sighed. Sitting on her bed in her rich father's mansion, she flipped through her yearbook. Her gaze lingered on Bryan's picture. He was perfect, yet untouchable. Years of mounting frustration over many failed attempts to win Bryan over were starting to get to her.

Vicki turned the page. Her gaze fell on Steve, a good-looking guy who she knew had been eyeing her lately. He wasn’t bad looking at all. Really hot actually, with his mop of brown hair and ever-present beard stubble. She could see herself having a relationship with Steve. Vicki mused that it could easily turn into a long-term thing. It could, it could…. Except for one problem that wouldn’t go away: Bryan.

Looking out the window, Vicki realized what a beautiful day it was outside. She shouldn’t be cooped up inside, especially not in her father’s house.
