Callum already knew who he would choose. He had known from the moment he laid eyes on her. He cleared his throat a few times to pluck up some courage and then spoke.

”I've made up my mind,” he said and turned to Madam Zoriah, ”You.”

”Uhm, yes?”

Callum grinned. ”You, Madam, I choose you as my reward,” he said, trying to sound as brash and confident as he could.

As brazen as she appeared, it was now Madam Zoriah's turn to blush. The impudence of her new bouncer caught her off guard.

”What? What do you take me for? A simple whore?” she scoffed with a deep frown. ”I have been a concubine to nobles and generals, even to Lord Alrik himself, and now YOU think that you can just come here and... hmph, what cheek!”

The girls laughed, apparently very amused by the situation.

”You said any girl in the room,” said Almi. ”And just what is wrong with being a simple whore?” She crossed her arms, inclining her head. "I've heard of a certain madam that used to suck cock for pittance behind the latrines of an army camp. That was before she happened to suck off some general one day and moved up in the world."

”Watch your tongue, you little brat,” Zoriah's cheeks turned red hot – but she soon let out a resigned sigh, ”But ... you are right. That is what I promised and I am a woman of my words. Very well, warrior. I will grant you your wish, and you shall have me. But this is a one-off affair, and I am most certainly not doing this down here.”

She took Callum under his arm and began escorting the grinning giant up the flight of stairs leading to the second floor.

Halfway up she turned around and snapped at the snickering girls. ”And stop that gloating or I will have you all servicing nothing but dwarves! For free!”

They walked past a few doors down a narrow corridor and stopped at a slightly larger oak door at the end. Zoriah fished up a key from her cleavage and let Callum inside. ”Welcome to my private chambers, Callum. I've invited few men before you.”

Callum looked around. The suite was spacious and was dominated by a huge canopy bed. He had never seen such a mysterious contraption before and suspiciously brushed his large calloused hand along the plush red covers.

Zoriah walked up to him and untied his cloak and belt and let them fall to the floor with expert handiwork. She then gently placed her palms against his muscular chest and playfully pushed him backward with a warm laugh, ”It's not going to eat you! Just lay back and relax, warrior.”

Callum got down on the bed and rested his head on the pillows. He let out a long content sigh, overwhelmed by the softness. Zoriah untied his boots and placed them neatly on the floor. ”I must say, you made a wise choice, warrior. Zoriah will reward you like none another can, see to all your needs...” she purred. ”Hmm, speaking of which, may I offer you some wine?”

Ah yes, that was just what he needed! Callum grunted affirmatively.

”Very well, wine it is! I will only be gone a moment, stay right where you are!” the madam said and sashayed towards the door.

Callum stared with ferocious heat at Zoriahs shapely arse as she strutted out. He truly felt the gods smiling at him once again. He could hear them talking to him even.

He suddenly sat up straight. That was not the gods speaking, that was agitated voices coming from the next chamber.
