No grudges

I followed him into a private room. Probably was once a janitor's closet. "Ms DeMoss... Beth.. I'm..so, so sorry for what I did. I wasn't myself. The virus..." he said.

I bowed my head. I knew that he was making excuses. The doctor plainly told me the sex urge does not kick in for at least two hours. He'd have ravished me; infected or not; in the circumstances. It really sucks when you have to let have that illusion of control.

"Its alright. I know you weren't in your right mind." I said, but my eyes speared his. He looked away. He didn't believe his bullshit either.

"Ms. DeMoss,....Beth... I wish it would have been easier. Some other way to.." he said. I spat on the floor.

"Save it. I'm yours. I know what I am. What I can do. You know better than anyone you fucking bastard! Do what you need to do. Just end this!" I practically yelled. He strode up next to me with gritted teeth. I knew then that he had kept the secret. No one else knew what he had done in that grocery store to me. No one knew he was a cured infected. No one else knew he bent me over and fucked me unwillingly.

He popped his head out of the private room. "Pete. Tyrone. Take 15. I'm going to straighten her out." he said. I saw the gaurds leave, ushering out the techies, until we were alone the abandoned store.

"Beth..." he said. I let my head fall, and contemplated my next move as he moved closer to me. I could tell by his tone and body language what he was planning. He was the dashing hero that was going to save humanity, after all. I'm sure thought he deserved to get the girl too. I looked at him suddenly when his hand touched my bare arm.

"Stop saying my name." I said. "And don't get any ideas. I've not been with a non-infected since the outbreak. We don't know what'll happen.
