Molly was quick to assess the damage: her skirt was more damaged than she'd like (the ideal of course being 'not at all'), but it wasn't as torn as she had feared. The only tearing was at her side, a split in the fabric that went up all the way to her waistband. Not terribly revealing, though if she wasn't careful anyone looking would get to see her leg bared, up until it hit the pink of her panties. Still, it was easy enough to conceal, and less catastrophic than a tear anywhere else.

Hoping to end her family's impatient pestering, Molly started down the aisle- very quickly realizing an additional complication in the compromised clothing. The skirt had torn up the side because of the strain of pulling it out from the door- that much she'd noticed. But as she started moving, she realized that the elastic waistband had been strained just as much. The skirt now hung loosely on her hips, slipping slightly southbound with every step she took.
