Sarah becomes active all of a sudden.

You sit watching the television unable to think of anything that could perhaps break the uncomfortable silence that has developed between the two of you. Several minutes pass with out a word being said and the show Sarah had been watching ends. The movement of Sarah setting the television remotes down on a small coffee table next to you draws your eye. She spots you looking at her again and a flicker of thought crosses her face.
"You own a car, don’t you," Sarah says as way of a statement more than a question.
"Yeah," you agree, wondering where she is going with this train of thought.
"Good. What are you doing tonight?" she asks.
You think for a moment before answering, "Um... nothing. I've got work in the morning."
She cuts you off before you can say anything more. "Excellent. Your taking me out clubbing then." Sarah then jumps up and goes quickly towards her room. Just before exiting the living room, she turns back towards you and says, "I'll just go and get changed. It will only take me five minutes. Okay."

You sit there to wait while Sarah changes. Kelly re-enters the room having got changed out of her towel. She offers to make you a coffee which you gratefully accept. As you drink the hot liquid you have bit more of a chat with Kelly. When you mention that you are taking Sarah clubbing she raises her eye-brow in what might be mild surprise but says nothing further on the subject. Andi joins the two of you after a short while and makes herself a drink of her own. She too is likewise perplexed by Sarah's insistence that you take her clubbing.

Eventually you are left alone by the two girls. Kelly says that she has an evening class at the college. Andi works as a barmaid near the college so is offered a lift to her job by Kelly. You have finished your coffee so you wash the mug out and wait for Sarah to be done changing. You look at your watch and see that fifteen minutes have passed already, not the five minutes Sarah said she would need to get changed. You wish she would hurry up as you do have to be at work by eight-thirty tomorrow morning and don't want to be out all hours of the night.

You resolve to be patient but you cant help but continue to check your watch. Another thirty minutes have passed with out Sarah coming back into the living room. You are beginning to consider just leaving her to find her own way out if she doesn't have the decency to get changed quickly.
