You are attacked

You start to run even faster as you hear something tear through the trees and run towards you. Quickly you glance over your shoulder and see a dark mass run towards you. You see several pairs of glowing red eyes rushing towards you.

Immediately you scream, the other girls stop and turn around. “Don’t stand there run!” you scream at Mary who is standing in the clearing, paralysed with fear. You grab her hand and try and get her to move. But she seems **** to move. You decide that you should leave her, maybe she’ll run after you.

Your hopes of this are dashed as you hear a loud snarl followed by a loud high pitched scream. You suddenly realise that you cannot see the other girls. You call their names as you continue running. But there is no answer. You run though the woods feeling completely alone. You turn around again and notice that the dark mass is following you. You start to sprint faster and faster.

Suddenly you slam into something. Initially you think that it’s one of them. You look up and are relieved to see that it is in fact a young man, not much older than you are, with dark brown curly hair, blue eyes and a well built body. There is also another girl with him, she is a petite with long red hair.

You cling to the young man and start to sob, you are distraught at the **** of all of the girls and terrified as you know you are being pursued by the dark mass. He starts to pat your head, in an attempt to calm you down. You look up at him and try and speak to him. What you say is unintelligible because of your panting and sobbing.

“They ... all... gone ...things” You manage to say. The man and the girl look confused. Your breathing starts to improve and you pull yourself away.

“RUN! Those things are coming, they run...” You scream hysterically. You try and pull away from him but he grips you tightly. He whispers to you, telling you that you are safe.

Suddenly a dark dog like creature with red eyes comes into view. Immediately you recognise the eyes and realise with horror that there must be many of them out there. Without any hesitation, the young man creates some sort of glowing ball in his hand and throws it at the creature, destroying it. He smiles to himself.

But then several snapping sounds from the woods wipe the smile from his face. You peer into the forest to see if the other creatures have found you. The man and the girl peer into the forest, the man looking confused, the girl looking terrified. The man summons another ball of light and sends it flying into the woods.

Suddenly thousands of shadowy black bodies are revealed. The sheer number of these creatures makes it seem as if the entire forest is covered in shadows. You begin to whimper as you see the girl and man exchange glances.

“Fucking RUN!" The man suddenly shouts. He grabs your arm and he starts to sprint, pulling you along behind him. The creatures start to chase after the three of you and by the sounds of the crashes and snaps, they are gaining on you.

Suddenly you stumble and fall. The man stops suddenly looking at you and back to the shadowy mass pursuing you.
