And he knew you would be inconsolable if you ever lost your dear brother. He didn't want you to cry."

In the background, the she-demon bursted out in laughter. "It trully is perfect! Well played, I'll have to tell this one to everybody in hell!"

Cat's, on the other hand, wasn't in the same state of mind. Tears were now running down her cheeks, but it was tears of joy judging by her beautiful smile. "You really think so? You're not joking, right?" She snorted and wiped one of her eyes. "I won't forgive you if it is a prank."

Sam gently seized her hands. "I'm entirely serious. I think I finally found God, and I owe it to you."
