Preparations

I actually had quite a lot of work to do before I could sleep. The first thing I did was go through Dave's computer and track down any emails, forums and social media accounts he used. He had his browser save all his frequent sites and passwords so it wasn't hard, but just to be sure I couldn't lose access I changed all his passwords. I'd swiped his phone when I'd undressed him, so the two-factor authentications were no problem.

The idiot even had his bank logins saved. Apparently his parents were reasonably well-off and gave him a monthly stipend to live on, and he had a bit of money in there. Not a massive amount, but enough to pay what he owed for power and water bills, which I did, and pay an advance that should just about cover the next power and water bills, which I did. There was just enough left over to do next fortnight's grocery shopping, so I did that. I always have to do all the work around here.

I checked for evidence of any unmissable events in Dave's immediate future. All clear, except classes. If I prepared a workaround for those, there'd be nothing to interrupt my experiments.

Steve had brought his phone and laptop, so I checked his computer accounts, too. I'd have to fake an illness for him to get him out of an upcoming basketball practice, but other than that, he was equally clear for at least a couple of weeks. Which gave us time.

Everything else could wait until tomorrow.
