Praise Sakura

“Don’t be silly, Sakura! You’re a great person. I’m sure that your family would be happy to see you, no matter how you feel about them!” You say cheerily, trying to raise her spirits. Sakura says nothing. Her false smile doesn’t fade.

“Yes… I suppose you’re right… I’m a good girl right…?” she stutters softly, clearly blinking back tears. You’re not sure why she’s crying, since you just paid her a compliment… But you don’t say anything, letting her get her emotion out. She wipes her eyes with her hand, smiling the same hollow smile as she leads the way away from the spot, and towards home .
