Power ups?

On entering the next room, it was disappointingly lacking in enemies to kill or otherwise ruin. What she found instead was a set of three barriers of clear material.

Behind the first barrier, she saw what looked to be a power shield, a great piece of kit to use when too many projectiles are heading her way, unable to see or dodge them in time. Judging by the specs, this was a rechargeable one too, meaning that even if it went down to zero, it could go back to full in little time.

The second barrier was a machinegun, standard issue for heavy infantry and mounted vehicle combat. It could easily shred through the hundreds of lesser demons and zombies, and could take out several barons of hell if she were to be judicious with the use of it.

Then third one was a little odd, looked like a floating skull, mist and smoke billowing from it, something she never saw before and was more than a little curious about it.

Looking around, she found what seemed to be a fleshy, bony, computer of some kind, in strange symbols. Doomgal wasn't too sure what they meant, but the three skull buttons there made some indication that it had something to do with the barriers in the room. There was a feeling that once she picked, there wasn't going to be a chance of getting the other things, unless she became lucky later.
