Poker

“Let’s play Poker.” You decide, before heading upstairs to get your cards. When you get back Connor and Corey have moved the table into the middle of the room, and the guys are starting to pull chairs around.

“$10 buy ins?” Connor asks, glancing around at the other guys. You all throw some money into the center of the table before you begin to parse our chips.

A few hours later it’s nearing midnight and there are only three of you left.

Matt went out almost immediately, followed by Archie and Aaron. Corey went out but decided to buy back in. Then Andrew went out, then Will then Brandon. Everyone else has gone upstairs, leaving just you, Connor and Corey sitting around the table.

“Y’all wanna start wrapping up?” You suggest.

The other two glance at each other and nod. You count up how much money you’ve each made. You ended with $45, Connor with $40, and Corey with $15.

“Either of you want a smoke?” Connor asks as he pulls out his cigarettes, walking towards the exit.

Corey shakes his head, starting to go up to bed.
