Play it safe

You decide not to spend too long near her not sure what she can do to help her escape only entering the basement to give her the food you made her. Luckily for you the disturbance she caused when she escaped the museum gave you a chance to start your work. It had only been 3 days and you had the draft of the grand introduction.

You had found several ways to keep your colleagues from being able to stop you or share in your glory. As the days passed you even considered potentially destroying their lives before the big unveiling. For now though you decide to let things play out as normal as they can.

By late Sunday night the only thing that was still an issue is how to get your prize back into her sarcophagus with out anyone seeing. Figuring Thursday night was the best chance as you could make out you was doing last minute checks before the re opening of the exhibit.

Calling it a night for your work you pour yourself another whiskey and quickly read a few news websites. Spotting a few saying there had been several strange incidents near the dig site you choose not to read them figuring it was just the protesters that Abdil had mentioned on Friday.

As you turn off your computer to make your way to your bedroom you hear a loud banging on your door. It almost sounds like whoever is on the other side that they are trying to break it down. At first you wonder if someone has worked out what you haven been up to. Shaking the thought of as silly you hurry to the door and open it angrily.

You are greeted by seven men in black middle eastern attire six have their face and head covered. Before you can even think let alone react they grab you and roughly tie your hands behind your back. Next they add a noose to make sure you do not try to fight back. Finally the seventh man steps forward though his head is also covered his face is not. though like the princess his skin tone is light you can easily tell he is of Egyptian Descent. In Ancient Egyptian he asks in a demanding tone.
