Consulting a board featuring all the Trainers who've recently scored a win against Brock, you're irritated to see that not only is Blue ahead of you, he's already got his first badge!

Slyly maneouvering around a dorky looking Camper who probably would've wanted a battle, you make it to the main man unmolested.

"So, you're here." Brock says. "The kid did good. You're actually pretty hot." You're kind of amazed Brock can tell either of those things, seeing as he never seems to open his eyes.

"My rock-hard willpower is evident even in my Pokémon!" Brock exclaims. Uh, okay.

"My Pokémon are all rock-hard, and have true-grit determination." Brock continues. You swear, this place is the most you've ever heard rock-hard used in a non-sexual context.

"That's right - my Pokémon are all the ROCK type!" Brock finishes.

"Yeahh, I kind of noticed." You chime in. He mostly ignores you.

"Fuhahaha! You're going to challenge me, knowing that you'll lose? That's the Trainer's honour that compels you to challenge me!"

"Fine, then! But know that when I win, your sweet ass is mine!" Brock declares. "Show me your best!"

Loosing a Pokéball, Brock sends his first into the ring.
