Personal assistant

As you scroll through the hundred of job openings in your area, most requiring both a college degree and multiple years of experience in whatever field or are minimum wage fast food level stuff, you stop over a particularly interesting one.

Personal assistant wanted:

• seeking to higher personal assistant at start up company
• applicants must have a drivers license, be motivated self starters, and attractive and articulate as they will be the first face many see
• job pays well with potential bonuses of future stock options.

Well this seems like a good potential. You feel like you meet the requirements, and if you could get in on the ground floor of a good startup you would be set for life, even if you didn’t know the industry.

You decide to fill out the online application and send it in. It had all the normal background info to fill out, but then went into some stranger things. First it required exact measurements of your body, to the point you had to get a measuring tape to accurately answer. This was every wear, from your throat, your thighs, even your head width and feet.

Secondly, it required a personality quiz, though some of the questions were odd. Some of the stranger questions were “when you are confronted by a superior woman, do you a: submit, or b: falsely resist the truth” and “if required to wear a uniform, do you prefer a: whatever your boss desires, or b: whatever you feel sexiest in.” After filling everything out, you submit the forms.

You don’t have to wait long before you receive an email stating, “Sam, you have been approved for an interview. Come to the below address as soon as possible.” That was quick! You look up the address, and see if you leave quickly you could be there just after noon. You take a quick shower, and throw on a button down and the least wrinkled jeans you have. You text your dad to let him know your headed out for an interview, and go.
