Path One, Ashley Gives up the Baby for Adoption.

When Ashley tells her parents she is pregnant and unwed they explode. She is barely 18 and will still be 18 when the child is born. Their status in the community would be tarnished. She doesn't tell them about the porn shooting or that you are the only one she has ever fucked. She makes up a story about a party she drink so much at that she doesn't remember the experience or even where it was. Her father wants her to abort it but her mother convinces him to have Ashley go away and give the child up for adoption.

Ashley acts flaked out at college and drops out after Halloween to do missionary work. In reality she takes a quick trip to a few Latin American hell holes and have pictures taken in front of large old churches before her pregnancy starts to show. She then goes to live with distant relatives far away until the baby is born. Her father made a large donation to a catholic church to back up the fiction of Ashley's being gone.

In late May she gives birth to a healthy baby. It is taken away without her holding it or knowing its gender. A childless couple with good incomes had been waiting for the child since mid-December. The baby is a late Christmas present they will love regardless.
