Part 2: The Trailer

She approached the trailer that the man said she would find her clothes in. The air smelled vaguely sweet, and she could smell it even with her silly red clown nose. It made her smile and blush.

"I should probably rifle through these clothes before the show. He said anything will do, but let's find the ones that will suit me the best. After all, if this is the best way to impress and get to the more elegant acts in this circus, I should look my very best. Professionalism goes a long way!"

She opened a dresser in the trailer, and found rows and rows of identical costumes.

They looked a lot like slutty, low budget, skimpy night gowns, each and every single one was black, shiny, and see through. Each was made of a strong stretchy material, it was like wearing a dress made out of latex. They all left the entire midsection revealed and everything below the crotch left fully open, and many were rather thin and small around the boobs, and revealing on the sides.

Rebekah gulped. "Well, anything to get on the trapeze....." and she decides to go with a red skirt with gold trim, and a matching top. The air continues to have a sweet scent about it and is growing increasingly intoxicating to her. It clicks in her head what it reminds her of.

"Laughing gas?" It didn't seem far fetched that such a stimulant would be floating in the air of the clown's trailer. She had to admit, it did feel good and reduced her stress about performing the day of her hire. Maybe it would help with her jitters if she breathed deep through that big clown nose of hers. She inhaled deeply through her nose, smiling at the smell and giggling a little. She tried on some of the makeup available. It felt weird using fake noses and fake orange and red hair, but part of being a good entertainer was making sure you were doing it in character. Rebekah liked a challenge, and she'd pull this off.

It was getting closer and closer to show time, she had to stop fooling around. She picked up the script that she was going to be working through tonight. She read through it and grimaced, but with a smile. "Oh brother."
