Panther

It's good to have a teammate. You're hoping that Steve will be capable enough not to hold you both back. But you can't help but wonder about that panther he mentioned. You managed to lose the wolf in the alleys, but a nimble predator like a panther...

Suddenly, your wondering becomes reality. You heard a low growl, and a look of dread came over Steve. "Run!" He shouted just before a large black panther appeared. Like the wolf, it was humanoid and muscular. However, this panther was giant! It must be at least seven feet tall. All the better for catching prey like you. Snap out of it! You need to stop staring at this thing and run.

Steve follows you into the alley as you sprint with all of the strength you can summon. That may have overdone it. You were so focused on escaping the panther that you outran Steve! You feel very alone in these alleys. "AAAAAUUUGH!" That must have been Steve! His screams become gurgles and everything is once again silent. Thuds. Oh no. Something is approaching.
