Paige-Ares vs AJ Lee

AJ was ready when Paige arrived on the ring. The latter looked particularly fierce today. Good. The audience was in for a show. Anyway, it wasn't like any of them was going to get hurt today. They had repeated lots and lots of times exactly how the fight was going to go, and as long as they sticked to the plan, everything should be okay for them.

-Okay let's get this over with, she muttered, before leaving the ropes of the ring, heading towards her colleague.

She winked at Paige. Usually, this was a discreet way of greeting a colleague, without the audience noticing that the fighting was fake. But this time, Paige didn't react. Actually, the latter was looking at her like she didn't know her. Huh, strange. Maybe she just was in a bad mood.

AJ was the first to attack. She raised her arm, aiming to slap Paige in the face. According to the plan, her opponent was supposed to get slapped, before retaliating. Only this time, to AJ's surprise, she grabbed her hand in mid-air, looking at her with contempt.

-Paige, muttered AJ as discreetly as she could, what the fuck are you doing ? Just stick to the plan.

-Pathetic mortals, said Paige with a surprisingly deep voice.

-You're hurting me ! Stop fooling around and do your job correctly.

Suddenly, something strange happened. For a couple seconds, the contempt disappeared from Paige's face, replaced by terror.

-Help me, she suddenly said with a much higher-pitched voice. Help me !

-What ?

Before Paige could say anything more, her expression changed again. Now she was smiling like some rabit beast, strengthening her grip on AJ's forearm.

-Let the carnage begin, said the voice of Ares through Paige's lips.

A loud crack echoed, as Paige's iron grip crushed AJ's wrist like glass, causing her to scream in pain. A moment later, Paige let her go, and kicked her in the chin.

-Uuungh...

Instead of making her fall to the ground like a regular blow, Paige's attack threw AJ through the whole ring, causing her to crash against the ropes. Barely conscious, she fell on her knees and started crawling, trying hard to stand up again. Something was horribly wrong here. She looked up, and through her blurry eyes, she saw the possessed Paige walk towards her, ready for the final blow.

-Please...have mercy...

-The God of War has no mercy.

-No, please no...

Meanwhile, Vince and Stephanie McMahon were looking at the fight, unaware of what was really going on here.

-Are you sure this is okay? asked Stephanie, a bit worried. I don't think Paige is holding back at all.

-They know what they're doing, said Vince, sipping on a glass of whiskey. I wouldn't have hired them if they weren't professionals.

-AJ is bleeding through her mouth, Vince.

-It's an old trick, nothing more. Looks like we're in for a cool fight.

A couple meters further, AJ had managed to get back on her feet, ready to defend herself.
