Own Up Yourself

"Yes." I said, "Yes everybody, this t-shirt is the only thing I'm wearing. Not by choice, not because I get some sort of kick out of it, but because I was practically dragged out here wearing only this, because we were running late. Now, can we all just forget about it?"

Everybody was speechless, it was the first time I had ever been so confident, I even shocked myself, I felt like I could take on the world.

"Sure..." Rian said, "Just be careful not to be so cheeky next time, if you know what I mean." She laughed.

Then we interrupted by Susan shouting in from the kitchen, "Breakfast's ready!"
