Samuel was a butler. His father had also been one, and he had inherited the position. It payed better than you might expect, but that might only be because they knew the family from their years of service. His father had taught him that a butler's most important skill was discretion. So if there was one thing Samuel knew, it was how to keep his mouth shut. He woke up after a strange dream with the realization that he could erase someone's memories of an event, up to one minute of them.

Kate was known as Caffeine Kate, and word around the office was that she never slept. Some people had never even seen her leave, she seemed to always be working.
