Origin of the Cube

<I was about to get to that Amelia. You asked where I came from, well as you may have guessed the Cube is not human in origin, it is designed by a powerful race of beings, their abilities and technology would make them seem more like gods to you humans. But they grow bored of the world so send out Cubes to those down on their luck and in return they watch the user playing, they may modify parts of games to make them more challenging or entertaining, in return for being their entertainment you get to use the Cube till they grow bored of you.>

Amelia reads this over and nods a bit, entertain a god like race, and in return get to loot games of their items to use or sell in the real world... not a bad trade, and what did she have to lose? "ok, I am in" she says smirking "I need whatever I can get and if it means being the entertainment of some alien overlords, then fuck it, I dont have anything to lose"
