Chapter 22 by Erudite Erudite

What to say? Ask him to open the door or tell him the 'truth'? Maybe something else?

Open the door

The seed of doubt is there and growing, what if these aren't commandments, what if you are doing these sinful acts because you have misread the signs. The Lord wouldn't command these things of you! You have to leave and this supplicant shall provide the way. You steady your voice and aim for charming, although perhaps the man heard it as seductive.

"Yes, you were very good and I'd love to see you again really soon. But there is a door preventing that from happening. Could you."

"Say no more!"

The man booms with bombast. You hear his door open and practically slam shut. Some slight garbled voices out in the corridor followed by a familiar voice shouting once more.

"It's locked."

"No, it isn't. What."

You retort as politely as you can whilst snatching up your underwear and stuffing it into a pocket expecting the door to open at any second. You were going to explain but the man shouts back.

"Shit, it says vacant the door must be jammed. Don't worry. I'll have this door open in no time and then you can go for round two with this big black trouser snake."

How could you be so foolish! He doesn't think that you want to leave but you're door is stuck. He thinks you want to be with him again, only this time not through a hole in a wall. Maybe, if you can complete a sentence, you can talk your way out of this although part of you doubts he'll be as keen to open the door if there is no reward, but at least then you will not be with him so intimately. Perhaps this is sign that you got it wrong and the other signs were signs. Your head spins with what may and may not be. But if he does open the door and you have to fornicate with him again then at least afterwards you can leave.

What do you do? Try to explain the situation or wait for the door to open? Maybe something else?
