Once More Unto The Breach

It takes you a few days to finally build up the courage to head back through the portal. The fear of being trapped on the other side still hangs over you as you stand in front of it.

You have tried to prepare yourself as best you can, you brought along your Drivers License in the hope that it would be good enough although you have still not really come up with a way to get a good look at what ID looks like on the other side. The only idea you really have is simply to ask someone if you can have at look at their ID.

Your pockets also jingle with an assortment of coins and notes, you went and managed to get some money in a couple of currencies in the hope that at least one will pass as the local stuff. Although again you are not sure what you will do if the money gets rejected.

The last question might prove to be the hardest to answer however, you think, from what you found out about the world on the other side of the portal, that you can maybe guess the things that are frowned upon. With such a focus on procreation you can make a guess that sex acts that “waste” a man's seed might be frowned on. You also wonder about the rules around pregnant women and what about gay people?

As the questions swirl around in your mind you take a deep breath and step through the portal once more. Leaving behind the chilly morning air of your world.
